Hello All!

I am a fashion design major with a love for everything fashion, art related, anything crafty or hand-made! I wanted to create this blog to show the crafty things I make, to share my thoughts, the fashion I love, and to share the things I make to sell for my business. I am starting my own small business called White Winged Dove where I sell hand dyed scarves using different dyeing techniques that I have learned in my fibers art class. The name White Winged Dove comes from one of my favorite songs by Stevie Nicks and doves are a symbol of my grandmother Marion who passed away. I am a fun bubbly girl who is inspired by the world around me, whether it be something from nature or a person I see out and about. I see the world as one big piece of art work forever changing and becoming more and more beautiful everyday. My family, friends, and boyfriend inspire me too; they are all such different people and are all a piece of who I am. They have helped me become the person I am today and help me become a better person everyday. I try to put myself in all the work I do. I believe that you should always put love in the work you make and that is what I try to do with my scarves and other crafts. I think that all handmade things are very special because they are made individually with love by the person that has created them. I hope you enjoy my blog and reading about my thoughts, ideas, and dreams.
