"Love is a transformative force, and if you want to experience it you better be ready to change in every way imaginable."
I am originally from the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley. I have worked in restaurants, bicycle shops, outdoor adventures and more. I have studied art and photography and have lived many different lives in this one body.
Most recently, I studied Therapeutic Massage at Florida College of Natural Health, Orlando. Since 2011 I have worked in the fields of massage therapy, holistic health and pain relief. I have experience in wellness centers, spas and chiropractic offices, and have obtained formal education in many types of massage. This variety paired with a healing intuition allows me to individualize each massage according to the needs and goals of my client. My favorite modalities to pull from include Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Cranial Sacral, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, and every massage incorporates deep assisted stretching from my strong Sports Maintenance and Thai Massage backgrounds. I am a strong proponent of nature as therapy and I love horseback riding, kayaking, hiking and swimming. I have a pup named Wiley, she loves camping too.
Holistic therapies, including nutrition and medicinal teas inspire me because they enrich our health as well as our souls. I am passionate about providing treatments that are both relaxing and effective in encouraging healing in the body. Anatomy and the study of the body’s ability to move and to heal itself fascinate me. I truly believe in regular massage as a maintenance healthcare for an improved quality of life and a more blissful state of mind. I would LOVE to travel world-wide working, sharing my gifts and learning as much as I can.
