Kazuharu Omata

I'm currently a master student researching about the issues of poverty and homelessness in Japan at the graduate school of Urban Social and Cultural Studies at Yokohama City University.

I have been involving with VIA (Volunteers in Asia) at Stanford University as Asia Coordinator since 2007. VIA is a non-profit organization providing innovative experiential learning programs in Asia and the U.S.. I have been coordinating experimental learning programs in U.S., including facilitating workshops for participants from Asia and U.S..

I will work at WINGLE Co., Ltd. from 2012. WINGLE is a social enterprise providing job training for people with disabilities, educational support for children with developmental disabilities and IT media platforms for families with children with developmental disabilities.

My dream is to work for or establish the global educational organization for change makers.
