Born in Japan. Spent teenage years in Dallas (Irving), Texas. Living in New York City since '92. Studied architecture at Parsons School of Design, but not an architect by profession. Spent (spending) most of the productive years (15+ yrs) in the web/interactive work. Totally fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken.) Interpreter/Translator. My ancestors were interpreters for Dutch traders when Japan was closed off to the rest of the world. I guess being a bridge between cultures runs in my family.
