Originally she comes from Tokyo, for the last 26years she has been residing in Sydney. Currently she is a Sydney based freelance photographer who has studied at Sydney Institute of Photography; Ultimo TAFE to explore deep into photography world. She has a passion for traveling overseas to discover foreign culture. In the past she had been to many tropic destinations for their beautiful beach-side lifestyle. But.. Italy is always in her mind as at the top of her must-go-list. In 2003 she fell in love with Italy for its beauty at the first sight. As a souvenir she brought home one calendar, which had beautiful black and white images of Italy by Australian photographer. They are still with her; on the walls of her dining-room, and keep inspiring her to shoot her own beautiful images. One of her favourite images from the calendar is a resting gondoliere on a gondola next to a reflection of buildings along a canal on the surface of the canal water, in Venice. She rather like to take iconic, detail images from slightly different view points, which is now she is trying to discover more in her style. It is still a big challenge for her. :D She is also into Italian cooking, so she cooks and shoots sometimes. In the future she would love to take photos for chefs' cooking books and magazines, calendars and books and postcards for traveling destinations, also she is interested in architecture and street photography as well.
