I have loved biology for as long as I can remember. I have always loved animals. While still very young, my love of petting and watching animals turned into curiosity. I wanted to know everything about them, every random fact about every animal out there. Did you know that jaguars are just black leopards?

By the time I hit tenth grade biology, I was hooked. Everything I learned in that class amazed me. DNA was just astounding to me. The cell is absolutely amazing! By the end of tenth grade I was convinced that I was meant to be in the biology field.

In college I knew right away that I wanted to be a biology major. Once in my sophomore year, I narrowed it down to zoology. I have learned so much, and I yearn to learn more. Zoology is my life's passion. I just graduated from Western Oregon University with a BS in Biology, emphasis in Zoology, and a minor in Spanish. I am seeking a job that allows me to explore and learn as much as possible about the world around us.
