KBC Kids

Kobie Powell, Brian Rund and Clair Reilly-Roe met, connected, and committed to making fun music for everyone. Their fresh Hip Hop sound is filling a major void in the children’s market and allowing parents everywhere to get their groove on, too.

Kobie Powell rose to fame as a platinum-selling Hip Hop artist for Us3 (Capitol/Blue Note Records). His prolific animated voiceover work has dubbed him “the voice of Nick, Jr,” and he consistently works with Nickelodeon, CBS, MTV, VH1, ESPN, and HBO. Kobie also works as an on-air host for Starz On Demand and has appeared in over 50 national commercials. And, that’s just scratching the surface…he’s also a semi-pro bass angler.

Brian Rund is an award winning composer, sound designer and mixer with an Emmy, 2 Promax World Golds, Aegis and Telly Awards to his credit. He loves to work on long and short form films, documentaries and also does quite a bit of work for various television networks including NBC, E-entertainment, Syfy, USA, History, VH1, MTV, Discovery and Comedy central to name a few. Brian comes from a long line of professional musicians but that didn't deter him from first giving the NAVY a try... (on a submarine). His Casio keyboard kept him sane during the first Gulf War and he emerged a new man with a new mission... Sound!

Clair Reilly-Roe tours all over Canada & the US. With guitar in hand, her most recent features are in SOCAN Magazine Words + Music & in SESAC magazine "new + now". She released her debut reggae/pop album titled, “Island in the City,” with the help of Grammy Award winning producer, Tony Black (Alicia Keyes/Michael Jackson). She, too, comes from an artsy family but gave professional snowboarding a try before fully embracing the music scene.
