Krzysztof Borowiak
Freelancer, Web Developer, and Social Media Manager in Poznan, Poland
Hi,
I'm Chris and I'm an IT-guy. You may ask me to do all kind of stuff, including website development, computer support, some app development and so on. Please find some more info about my abilities along with project portfolio below.
What have I done yet?
I've been doing a lot in Students' Union of Poznan University of Technology, where I was not only a Faculty Council President, but for two years I was a PR Committee President. I've learned a lot about lots of ways of announcing things to people, so they know, something is being done.
Meanwhile, for few months, I was also a Project Manager at students' IT project. It was a failure, but gave me a lot of experience.
As I love making amazing stuff, for 4 years in a row I was helping as a volunteer with the greatest Polish Fantasty Festival in Poznan: Multigenre Fan Convention Pyrkon. For one year I even was the Head of Electronic Games Section, for two: an Assistant.
Recently I've made my own Fantasty Convention in Konin, called KoKon (eng. Cocoon). With help of the Organizer, the Youth Culture House, it took me about a month to create it. That's kind of a record.
Do I have any experience?
I was a trainer at School of Newest Technologies in Microsoft Poland. I've done a lot of teachings and trainings as a Student, in dozens of High Schools and such. I've done few nice websites and Facebook Pages, cooperated with business environment, and done lots of stuff „for Students by Students”.
Don't ask me if I have an experience for your purpose. Just try me out. If I say I'll manage, I'll manage.
Do I have any interests or hobby?
Sure I have! I love making stuff happen, as well as I love driving trips (as a driver!). Also, the far east culture (Japanese, as well kind of Chinese and Korean) is most interesting for me.
Did I note any successes in my life?
Other than starting a great relationship with my girlfriend? I'll find something. For example: the Students' Union of Poznan University of Technology's Facebook Page had over 20-times popularity grow on Facebook since march 2013. Not much? Creating and cooperating new project called PoliPaczka since 2013, which is continued till today; recovering Academic Calendar after one year break, and giving back it's old glory in two years time. I think that's just enough.
Oh, and I can speak Polish and English, as well as I have some baisics of Japanese.
Thanks for your time! ;)
