With my earliest childhood memories of Saturday afternoon Godzilla films, being in awe over seeing Kong in the theater, and a healthy fascination with Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, I have spent nearly four decades as a fan and student of classic horror history, and enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. In 2010 I decided it was time to try my hand at writing a few articles on the classic films. Since then I have published works on the website Suite 101, HubPages, a featured article at The Peter Cushing Appreciation Society, and acting as sole contributor to a blog which concentrates solely on my long time love of the classics:The Oblong Box 10. I am proud to boast that the blog received over one-thousand views within the first six weeks of its inception, and over thirty-five hundred within it’s first five months. All of my work is collectively known as KB Zorka’s Monster Show. I have also been known to volunteer my knowledge and passion for film in helping to promote independent horror and sci-fi filmmakers, and I am currently working on my first book (and hopefully finding a publisher) which involves a short history of over 100 female antagonists in classic sci-fi and horror cinema. When I'm not working my day job, I can usually be found researching and writing, shopping-out various articles, and spending the remainder of my time with my favorite little guy and biggest fan: my grey and white short-haired cat, Dilly.
