Karmanos' Malignant Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Multidisciplinary Teams includes hematologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, infectious disease, immunotherapy, pediatrics and internal medicine, pathologists, cytogeneticists, pharmacists, specialized nurse practitioners, dietitians, and social workers. The teams are entirely focused on treating hematologic malignancies and shares their collective expertise to create a customized treatment plan for each patient.

Evaluation & Diagnosis

Each patient receives personal attention from the team. During your initial visit to the new Dresner Clinic for Hematologic Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Karmanos Cancer Center, a physician will review your medical records, medical history, and review your x-rays and pathology slides. The teams meet regularly to discuss patient care issues and refine individual patient treatment plans.
