Kelsey Chatlosh

Brooklyn, NY

This August of 2014, I will begin pursuing my Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology at the City University of New York. Previously, I worked for city government in Washington, DC, as the Language Access Monitor at the Mayor's Office on Latino Affairs, and volunteered for DC Murals, a research project striving to document all of the city's outdoor murals. I received my BA in Anthropology and American Studies, with a minor in Spanish, from the George Washington University in 2012. While the District of Columbia was my home for the last six years, I am excited to begin a new chapter living in NY between home in Brooklyn and classes in Manhattan. [The DC mural featured on my background image is "Edgewood to the Edge of the World" by Albus Cavus Collective, 2009.]
