Kristina Cisnero

Hello!

My name is Kristina Cisnero. I am currently a Marketing Communications student at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and I am the President of the BCIT Marketing Association, a Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association. I am extremely passionate and motivated, outgoing and approachable. I am a geek at heart but a social butterfly since birth. I was born in Makati, Philippines and moved to Campbell River, Canada when I was five. I now currently reside in Vancouver, BC and my neighbour is Stanley Park.

I was born to live on the stage and perform for an audience that enjoyed the beauty of musical theatre and dance. I loved communicating an art form through movement and music. But, when I got injured I had to focus my energy on to other things. This lead me to putting everything I had into leadership opportunities. From being part of multiple leadership clubs such as the Rotary Interact Club and student government, to using that experience as a base on my ladder to achieving higher leadership opportunities such as House President at UBC and the President of the BCIT Marketing Association. I am a big fan of the NHL and NFL. I'm a Facebook addict and I am not afraid to admit it. Marketing is what I live and breathe every day and I am always willing to learn and grow my skills to some day create something that will make a difference in someone's life.

With all that in mind, when it came down to choosing what I wanted to do with my life. Choosing Marketing was the only direction I see myself taking because it allows me to combine all my Likes and my passion to achieve goals that allow me to take risks.
