Kim Coull is a writer, academic researcher, oral historian, course facilitator/teacher, and artist who lives in the Perth foothills. She has written one book of poetry and a novel about Late Discovery Adoptee Trauma Her academic research has been published in M/C Journal and Outskirts and her poems have been published inBlue Dog, Poetrix, and Famous Reporter.

Her research, poetry, prose, and paintings explore the issues surrounding Late Discovery Adoptees, the translation of the 'Relinquished Self into Text' (and the world), pre verbal trauma, and cellular (marrow) memory.
