KC Taylor

KC Taylor

KC Taylor began playing when he was seven years old and played his first pro gig at sixteen before 1500 people. Classically trained on clarinet and alto sax, he became a music major at NIU but left after one year to start a professional career. He played with various bands throughout Chicago on sax but switched instruments to become a highly sought out bassist. As his songwriting came to the forefront, he began to form bands as a guitarist and singer opening for Michael Charles, Michael Bruce (Alice Cooper), Enuff Z'Nuff and Firehouse. Still in search of an elusive record deal for multi-media productions, his songs have done incredibly well on internet sites including a #10 position at Rolling Stone and soaring up the charts overseas to reach #1 in Germany.

UPDATE: In 2010 KC made the transition to digital video & film production. He is currently accepting clients for commercial work while preparing to direct feature films.
