I am the school librarian at Ledyard High School. Previously, I was the school librarian at Ledyard Center and Gallup Hill Elementary Schools for 19 years. I also worked part-time at Ledyard Middle School for 3 years.
The best part of my career is that it allows be to be both a teacher and a student as education and technology are constantly changing. And, of course, that I get to work with students!
I love learning how to use new technologies and purposefully infuse them into curriculum. Part of my mission is to help students learn to critically evaluate what they read, see and hear in all forms of media. This includes teaching students how to create their own media. I am passionate about teaching organized research processes for students in our increasingly complicated digital world. I am an avid reader and love talking about books with anyone who walks through the door.
