Kristin Deering

Teaching Experience:
I student taught 4th grade students at Wanda Gray Elementary School in Springfield, MO in 2008. I then began teaching 3rd grade at Pick Elementary on Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, which is a part of the Waynesville R-VI School District. After one year, I transferred within the district to East Elementary School, where I currently teach 2nd grade. This is currently my 8th year in education.

Coaching Experience: Aside from teaching, I am also an Assistant Coach at Waynesville High School during Football and Basketball seasons. I have previously coached Junior Varsity, Varsity, and currently coach at the Freshman level. I have been coaching for 6 years this fall.

Educational Background:
I graduated from Waynesville High School in 2004 and decided to attend Drury University in Springfield, MO. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I am currently a Graduate Student at the University of Central Missouri where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. I plan to graduate in May, 2016.
