Kathryn DeFazio

Writing is my little pocket of creative sanity in a harsh and complex world. In college, I majored in English Literature primarily as an excuse to read books all day without guilt. As passionate as I am about consuming words, my love of reading has always come back a desire to tell my own stories. My works focus on the difficulties of navigating the mental health industry, feminism and sexism, queer issues, class and poverty, and the complexity of living as a young professional in the United States.
