Kyong-Mi Dillard
Massage Therapist, Caregiver, and Genealogist in Long Beach, CA
Aloha! I'n a nutshell, I am Kyong-Mi Dillard. The link on the top of this page is to my Massage Therapy blog.
I am a seasoned Massage Therapist, in practice since 1998. My CAMTC# is 3199 and my NPI# is 1316701600. I work out of Long Beach, California.
My favorite modalities include Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Deep Tissue. My massages are all tailored to the client, so I don't give a cookie-cutter massage. It really depends on what the need is, because that is where I will focus my massage. Unless, there is no need, and the client is just wanting to relax, I will not talk to my client during massage, and I will give them as a relaxing session as possible.
As of April 2023, I caregive for my mother whom has end-stage Alzheimer's Disease and it's very challenging. In November 2023, I became her conservator, as she no longer can care for herself in any aspect of life. She 100% depends on others to help her. Thankfully, I have a loving family that helps me caregive.
I am also a freelance genealogist and have created thousands of family trees, beginning with my own. I am intrigued by our ancestors and how many of my friends are related to me through my father's mother. I love keeping my family history alive.
Other than California, I have lived in Hawaii and Oregon, both very gorgeous and very different than California. I love hiking and was fortunate to hike those states while I lived there.
I love tiki culture and have a few Tiki Mugs and love the Island Heritage Christmas ornaments my husband and I have collected over the years. He's from Hawaii and I am tropical-indigenous by blood, so we love to bring Island flare into our home as much as possible. I have a Christmas Blog online as well.
