KeAdrian Edwards was born and raised in the "Home of the Blues", Memphis, Tennesee. She is currently a senior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Education (B.S.E) in Kinesiology. She will be graduating on May 8th of 2013.
Edwards aspires to be a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient woundcare as well as geriatrics. During her undergraduate studies, she has devoted many hours of volunteer service and shadowing in Knoxville, Tennessee at Tennessee Orthopaedics. This is where she began to develop her passion for the anatomy of the human body, how it works, and how it can be improved.
Edwards spends her spare time doing volunteer work at homeless shelters and churchs including Living For Christ Restoratin Home, the Salvation Army, and the Boys and Girls Club. She has also been involved in many causes to improve the lives of men and women stricken with autoimmune and genetic diseases including Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Start! Heart Walk, Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure Walk, & the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to End Diabetes. She also enjoys painting, interior decorating, and fashion.
