From the moment I discovered that words could come together into a powerful, beautiful work of art; people have enjoyed what I've had to say. I've always used writing to express my innermost thoughts, thoughts that would be difficult to express verbally ( with my light speaking voice and a tendency to be awkward in social situations). I wrote a children's book at age 10 for a school contest and won, unfortunately, nothing was ever published. The only copy is the proud property of my Grandmother. In College, I lost myself. My writing suffered. It wasn't until my youngest brother enrolled in film school that the next stage began. Out of a desire to assist my brother during his director's classes, I taught myself to write screenplays.My Personal Life.... I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, along with my two younger brothers. Not to sound like a dating site, but...I would describe myself as prissy, independent, spontaneous and a little socially awkward in certain situations. Growing up in Chicago has made me socially aware and humble.
