About time!

I was hoping you wouldn’t miss out on the best part… Getting to know me, of course.

By now, you should have noticed two things: aesthetics is my strong suit, and lifestyle topics are my addiction. I am Ke’Anna Boyd, a lifestyle enthusiast, freelance journalist, and digital content creator. I am a Chicago, Illinois native who currently resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Before this, my journalism journey started at Bethune-Cookman University while obtaining a degree in mass communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism. I was heavily active with WM&G TV and produced commercials and voiceovers for Daytona Beach 99 ONE (WRWS-LP). This allowed me to reach unbelievable milestones. Some of which were being offered an internship at Deltona Television

Station and graduating with my Bachelor of Arts degree. Ready to further my education, I was accepted into the new media journalism program at Full Sail University.

This opened new doors for me as I unveiled a new passion for journalism through blogging. I created my first blog called WomenRPower, which shed light on female entrepreneurs such as cosmetologists, fashion designers, makeup artists, and influencers. I was a freelance blogger for 2 years before I was offered my first position for The Modern Black Girl blog. I created digital content using photoshop, managed their social media accounts, and published weekly content for the love and relationships column.

As of today, I have used my experience to create Simply Keanna B. From deeply empowering to humorous, “Simply Keanna B” is your daily dose of all things female entrepreneurship, beauty, fashion, and women empowerment. Are you ready for what we have in store for you?
