I'm an actor, musician, creator, and someone who’s always trying to live life with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. I was born on September 2, 1964, in Beirut, Lebanon, and grew up mainly in Toronto, Canada, where I started acting as a teen. I’ve been fortunate to work in film and entertainment for many years, from early roles in comedies to iconic characters like Neo in The Matrix and John Wick roles that have connected with people all around the world.

My career has taken me through a wide range of experiences from blockbuster hits to independent films, music with my band Dogstar, and creative projects like co‑writing the BRZRKR comics and exploring motorcycles with ARCH Motorcycle. I’m also proud of the quiet moments: reading, meditating, riding bikes with friends, or just being present wherever life takes me.

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve faced profound loss, the stillbirth of my daughter and the tragic death of my partner in the early 2000s were shaping experiences that taught me a lot about grief, healing, and the value of empathy.

Those moments have made me who I am: someone who values connection over celebrity, and kindness over glamour. I try to approach people, fans, crews, friends with the same respect I’d want for myself.

I’ve been in a meaningful relationship with Alexandra Grant for several years now. We met through work, and over time our friendship became something deeper. We share a love for art, books, and motorcycles, and we’ve even started a publishing venture together. While I’ve always kept my personal life private, I’m grateful for the support and joy we bring to each other.

I split my time between homes including a place in Los Angeles and often traveling for work or music but I still enjoy simple pleasures: riding public transit, walking around the city, exploring new places, and spending quality time with the people I care about. I don’t have children now, but I channel my energy into supporting others and contributing to causes that matter, especially those that help children’s health and cancer research.

Above all, I try to keep growing in my craft, in my relationships, and in how I show up in the world. Life is an incredible journey, and I’m grateful to be living it with humility, wonder, and an open heart.
