Kearabilwe Molefe

Teacher, Designer, and Web Developer in GAUTENG

I am an innovative educator, ICT support specialist, instructional designer, and web developer based in Gauteng, South Africa, with a strong commitment to advancing education through technology and innovation. My professional interests lie at the intersection of teaching, digital transformation, and learner empowerment, particularly in the context of the 21st century skills, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

My academic journey began at Mokgatlha Primary School and continued through Thebe ya Tlhajwa Secondary School. I am currently furthering my studies at the University of Johannesburg studying towards a Bachelor of Education majoring both Business Management and ICT role support, where I focus on integrating pedagogy with digital learning environments and work-related learning practices.

With a comprehensive background in instructional design and ICT, I have a deep understanding of the challenges facing South African computer labs-many of which suffer from limited infrastructure and outdated technology. I advocate for the revitalization of these spaces to foster inclusive access to digital tools and to support the acquisition of critical ICT skills among learners.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in learner-centred, inquiry-based strategies that promote critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. I incorporate blended learning models, problem-solving to engage and inspire students. Through these approaches I aim to equip learners not just with academic knowledge, but with the digital fluency and adaptability needed in a fast-evolving world.

In every aspect of my work, I prioritize innovation, inclusion and the practical application of technology in education. I am also an avid traveler and lifelong learner, continually exploring new trends in technology and education to enhance my practice and contribute meaningfully to the sector.
