Sinead Keaskin

I am the Principal of two ISTD danceschools in Ireland. I hold CDE’s/DDE’s under the Imperial Society of Teachers of dancing inClassical Ballet, Modern Thetare, Tap and National dance (ISTD). I also hold anAssociate in Public Speaking and Gold medals in Acting and Verse & Prosewith the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). I am privileged to havebeen trained by such teachers as Deborah Capon, Doreen Tempest, TeresaTheodoulou and Kathryn Wiggans to name but a few.

After my training, with the Deborah CaponCollege, I went on to dance in Europe, Asia and Ireland.

I have been teaching Ballet, Modern Theatre,Tap and occasionally National dance for15 years, training students from the tender age of 3 years up to their mid tolate 20’s in many schools across Ireland, as well as my own.

Choreography has been a large part of mycareer to date and I have choreographed many different types of work withdifferent societies, festivals, troupes and schools over the last 15 years.

I am currently working towards my MAProfessional Practice ( Dance Technique Pedagogy).
