Kebun Ilalang

About Us

Kebun Ilalang is children and youth place as their communication, through dance movement and image languages. We have several programs in generally knowledge and creativity. Founded in September 2012 in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta. The motto is "knowledge is art by ourselves".

The Idea

This activity originated from the idea of ​​our son (Panji) who loves to play that made ​​our family moved to assist them in understanding the importance of creativity as education. Complexities that arise around our stay so varied from negative behaviors into mass trauma such as social discrimination, crime, fugitives on the drug, character assassination, depression and suicide itself. It is alarmed us who live in a region that known as the gate of Indonesia.

Our Vision

We hope that our aim capable to motivate people to stand up from social discrimination. It is based from the activity of children and parents in togetherness.

Our Mission

As a place with several programs in general knowledge and creativity classes, and the reading corner (library). The creativity program based on quarterly system and a presentation of creativity. In addition we publish a journal about education, health, and social events held each October. This activity is free for residents in RT.001-012/RW.04, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta.
