John Keegan

John Keegan is currently a senior at Newbury College studying legal studies. He has excelled in his studies to date maintaining a GPA above 3.5 as well as earning numerous academic achievement awards. While attending Newbury College he spent two of his spring breaks in New Orleans rebuilding the community after Hurricane Katrina hit. While in New Orleans he learned leadership skills in his second year as being one of just a couple returning members; offering guidance and assistance to his fellow classmates. His experience also taught him how to work hard and to not take anything for granted. In his final semester of college he interned at the law office of Keegan and Novick where he was responsible for routine office work as well as legal research. John is currently employed at Marshalls retail store as a sales associate. As a sales associate, he has picked up customer service skills which will help in any field. In the future John hopes to attend law school and open his own firm. After he graduates from Newbury though, he plans on seeking paralegal work with a firm in the Boston area.
