I am sociology teacher in a mainstream comprehensive in North Notts. I came into the career late after gaining an open university degree in my thirties. I worked as a teaching assistant for many years specialising in behaviour but now have a real passion for helping young adults discover the world of sociology. I am also a mother whose son is about to fly the nest and go to university.
