Keeton Welch

Keeton Welch is a current sophomore at Texas Tech University and is an undergraduate student in the Rawls College of Business. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, Keeton has had the responsibility of having and keeping a job since the day he was old enough to obtain one. Early in his career he was promoted as a manager at a waterpark at the age of sixteen. Having the opportunity to manage three different on-park restaurants and experience management at an early age. Keeton enjoys management and seeing the projects he organizes and runs become a success. Now as an undergraduate student at Texas Tech University, Keeton partakes in many extracurricular activities and student organizations. These include having an on-campus job, the American Red Cross club, and Delta Sigma Phi. He has over fifty communiy service hours so far in his collegiate career and plans on having many more by the time he graduates. He has shown leadership in his fraternity by holding Activities chair, in which he was voted in his first semester of having eligibility to hold a chair position.

Family means a lot to Keeton. Growing up as a second child, he has an older sister who has already graduated college, and two younger brothers who look up to him. He graduated from a 5A high school in the top fourth of this class and was seen as a leader on campus by being handpicked by faculty to be a "Johnny Reb", a school organization of only sixteen students who oversaw all school events. Sports throughout high school were a big influence to Keeton, running track and cross country, Keeton learned how to work and grow with a team. He has great people skills, ranging from being comfortable with shaking hands, all the way to standing in front of hundreds and speaking, which he has experience doing working at summer camps that attract a thousand students a week. Keeton is a hard worker who is eager to see his accomplishments grow, and gets an excitement from seeing what he manages become a success.
