Keisuke (Kei) Hirano

I am an econometrician working on applications of statistical decision theory in economics, causal inference, and the analysis of auction models. I am currently a Professor of Economics at Penn State.
In the spring semester of 2015, I was a visiting professor of economics at Harvard University.
From 2012-2014, I served as Head of the Department of Economics at the University of Arizona.
From 2009-2012, I was Co-Editor of the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, a publication of the American Statistical Association.
