Keila Guimaraes is an internationally published journalist, with experience in business, finance and health.
Her most recent work is a cross-border investigation into the supply chain of penicillin to understand the causes leading to global shortages of this cheap antibiotic. The stories that are a result of this work were released across six different countries, with Al Jazeera English, Quartz US, IBTimes UK, among others.
Previously, she wrote about European stocks, commodities and banks for Bloomberg News London and worked as a beat reporter covering advertising and digital media for Propmark newspaper, in São Paulo.
She holds an MA in Interactive Journalism from City, University of London, where she specialized in data journalism. She is also a graduate from the School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM, in Portuguese), where she studied consumer behaviour.
