Everyone has something or someone that brings them the ultimate joy. The thing that brought me ultimate joy was born when I was only 12 years old. Cheerleading on the sidelines and in the bleachers made me realize I was brought so much happiness I could not even comprehend. Cheer co-captain and then the captain was something I took pride in but it was not my passion. Cheerleading was amazing because it helped me find my passion for something I love the most… Sports. Basketball was my first love and later came football as a close second.
Sports have always been a constant happiness in my life and something I look forward to every year. With college football season coming up in just a week, my mood will be based on if Georgia wins or not. Also, being a cowboys fan right now is quite depressing and they need to get their act together. With that being said, college football is the best because the hustle is different. Everyone is so hungry to get to the next level. NBA Basketball was always so interesting. My favorite player of all time is Stephen Curry, the point guard on the Golden State Warriors. I was so fascinated by the way Curry played basketball and charitable off the court he is.
My younger self would have never guessed where I would have ended up right now. I, Keisha Chestnut, am currently interning as a Recruiting Specialist for Georgia Football. I am so grateful for this position but my story doesn’t end there. Within this decade, you will see me on the big screen, interviewing athletes about any and everything. Working with the best in the business will correlate with me being the best interviewer out there. Only time will tell how great I'll be!
