Keita Williams

Keita Williams has been pursuing the world of entertainment since the age of three-years old when she first discovered the ability to captivate her audience through her gift of song. Even at such an early age she knew that music would become a vital part of her world. Keita at the age of fifteen, would soon dream herself to the stage of the world famous Apollo Theatre where her winnings would set the precedence for her career as a writer, singer and a performer. It wasn't long before Keita landed her first record deal with BMG under the label "Watch it Records. Even though Keita received great recognition for her music and video nationwide through media platforms such as MTV and BET, the bittersweet relationship with the label was short lived.

Keita committed to turning her setbacks into stepping-stones and began to sharpen her craft as a vocalist and business oriented person. She studied the music business and her mentors. Keita has always take great stake in the notion that knowledge is power. Over the last several years she has worked with Independent labels New Century Soul Records and Greer Entertainment dedicating her time to empowering aspiring artists through developing them with the tools she gained through her own experiences. The greatest lesson learned was to know the business you are pursuing and understanding that the language of that business is imperative no matter where you fall on the ladder of success.

Today you can find Keita doing what she loves most; performing and making timeless music. When she is not on stage she is inspiring young people and aspiring artists to reach beyond what appears to be impossible to fulfill their life dreams through motivational platforms. Community is a key element in the success of any story and Keita believes in giving back to the communities that support our youth. Upon graduating from Full Sail University with her BS in Entertainment Business on August 3rd, 2012, Keita has every intention on bringing all that she has gained from her education and her experiences together to impact the entertainment industry in a innovative and refreshing way.
