Keith DelPrete

With over 30 years of experience as a pharmacist and 27 as an entrepreneur, Keith DelPrete started on his career path by earning a Bachelor of Science from Temple University's School of Pharmacy, graduating cum laude in 1979. Upon completing his undergraduate education, Keith DelPrete was employed with Thrift Drugs as a staff pharmacist, ultimately becoming Assistant Manager of the branch. During his service to the company, he passed his examinations to become a Registered Pharmacist in both Pennsylvania and California.

Subsequently, Mr. DelPrete joined Laneco to help establish a new pharmacy division under the name Carriage Drugs. The enterprise grew under his leadership, and by 1981, Mr. DelPrete was manager of the company's three stores. In 1983, he left Laneco to start his own franchise, DelPrete's Pharmacy, which quickly expanded to a second store in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. With a visit to the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in Houston, Texas in 1995, he became familiar with the modern technique of pharmaceutical compounding. Earning his certification in this practice, he is now one of 2,500 compounding pharmacists nationwide involved in the art of synthesizing drugs to match the specific needs of patients.

Using his expertise in medical compounding, Keith DelPrete created a unique leg-cramp lotion for individuals seeking alternatives to quinine, a commonly used and potentially harmful component, or for people taking specific medical prescriptions. Given a provisional patent in 2005 by the United States Patent Office, Mr. DelPrete began retailing his product nationally as Cramp911, the muscle-relaxing lotion. That same year, Keith DelPrete founded DelCorean, LLC to facilitate the growth of Cramp911 into wider national markets. With continued product success, he sold his pharmacy enterprise in Lehigh County to CVS in 2009 to concentrate on the expansion of Cramp911 and develop supplemental products.
