Keith D. Patch
Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts
Involved in renewable, green, clean and alternative energy technology development and management for more than 20 years. I have a combination of talents that allow me to excel, with proven technical, business and marketing results in R&D, product development and business development.
I am currently responsible for directing a range of process engineering activities related to Joule Unlimited Technologies' development of processes that are efficient, eco-friendly, and commercially-viable for the production of photosynthetically-derived hydrocarbon fuels.
I recently led the new product introduction of a new heat-to-power conversion product line based on organic Rankine cycle (ORC) technology. ORC systems can convert between 10% to 25% of thermal heat streams to renewable electricity.
I have managed and conducted hands-on research on fuel cells, electrolyzers, lithium-ion batteries and other electrochemical technologies. I have conducted and supervised component and system technology development; optimization and MATLAB/Simulink modeling of complete air-breathing hydrogen fuel cell power plants for High-Altitude, Long Endurance (HALE) aircraft (acknowledgement), competitive analysis of commercial energy conversion systems, and business development.
