My meandering interests include...books, politics, science, classic films, the entertainment industry, the arts, writing, drawing, and sports, especially when it involves the Notre Dame and Chicago professional sports.

I live in and grew up in Fighting Irish country, but I was born in Caribou, Maine. Professionally, I worked in the newspaper, broadcasting and non-profit industries.

I proudly served on the Board of Directors of the International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA), Dallas, TX, and served as President of the INMA (Central Region, USA); I also served on several advisory boards of local non-profits.

Created the national sports publication "Irish Sports Report" and the national TV show "Irish Sports Reporters On TV."

Developed the Sunburst Races for the community. Brought the Scripps-Howard National Spelling Bee regional competition to the community.

Founding member of Comic Fandom; in fact, in my youth, I attended the first recognized "comic con" near Detroit, although it was officially deemed the "Alley Tally Party" back then.
