The Adventure Project is currently fighting rural hunger by supporting small farmers through the innovative and low cost solution of a Kickstart irrigation pump. These pumps are effectively empowering farmers to lift their own families out of poverty.

80% of the poor in Sub-Saharan Africa are rural farmers and 75% of all hungry children in Africa live in farming households. Kickstart has developed an affordable irrigation pump, capable of increasing a farmers income 1,000%. Farmers can grow enough enough to feed their families and earn income selling the surplus.
