My name is Keith McKittrick, I a native of Boston Massachusetts. When i was a child our family lived in South Boston and later moved to Chelmsford, MA before moving to Minnesota. I went Hutchinson High school where I played football and hockey. I attended the University of Minnesota, which is where i graduated from and also got my professional start with the Minnesota Wild in the NHL. After college I took a job at Michigan State University as the Director of Hockey Operations and was fortunate enough to be a part of the National Championship we won in 2007. I was selected to join the staff of Team USA in 2007 as well at the IIHF World Junior Championships in Leksand Swedend where we won a Bronze Medal. In 2008 I was given an incredible opportunity by Mike Babcock and the Detroit Red Wings. I joined the coaching staff and was with one the of NHL's most storied franchises for 6 great years. in 2014, I ventured out to Portland, Oregon to coach in the Western Hockey League. My first year with Portland we made it to the Western Conference Finals where we eventually lost out to Kelowna in 6 games. Hockey has been my life, I have very solid relationships with professional athletes and coaches I have been fortunate to work with for the the last 11 years. There are many more great stories along my journey and this is merely a snap shot! All the best!
