Keith Nurse

Dr. Keith Nurse, who is a dual British/Trinidad and Tobago national, is Executive Director of the UWI Consulting Inc (www.uwiconsulting.com).He is the former Director of the Shridath Ramphal Centre for International Trade Law, Policy and Services, University of the West Indies, Barbados. He currently holds the WTO Chair at the University of the West Indies (http://www.wto.org/english/tratop_e/devel_e/train_e/chairs_prog_e.htm).
Keith is a member of the teaching faculty at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business in Trinidad and Tobago. He is also the former President of the Association of Caribbean Economists and one of the founding members of the recently established World Economics Association (http://www.worldeconomicsassociation.org/). He has recently joined the editorial board of the journal Feminist Economics.
He is on the advisory board of the MA in Technology Governance at the University of Tallinn, Estonia (http://tg.deca.ee/) the steering group for the OECD Knowledge Networks and Markets research project as well as the Annual Conference for Development and Change, Carnegie Council for International Affairs and Ethics. He is on the scientific committee for the Diploma for Advanced Studies in Trade Negotiations and Governance, University of Geneva. He is also on the academic advisory board of the ACP Intra-Regional Observatory on Migration (http://www.acpmigration-obs.org).
He is the co-editor of the recently published book entitled The Global Economic Crisis and the Developing World: Implications and Prospects for Recovery and Growth (Routledge, 2012) and the executive producer of the documentary “Forward Home: The Power of the Caribbean Diaspora”.
