Keith Perch

I am a retired journalist and teacher. Having spent 30 years running newspapers and online businesses, I then taught journalism at the University of Derby.

I'm a former newspaper editor and MD of the Digital Publishing division of the owners of the Daily Mail and numerous regional papers. I edited the Derby Telegraph, the South Wales Echo, in Cardiff, and the Leicester Mercury. I was also on the founding board of the Independent Press Standards Organisation, the independent press regulator set up in the wake of the Leveson inquiry.
