Keith Singer is the CEO and founder of ICMC Group, a crisis management firm that provides personal, corporate, and universitycrisis preparation and resolution.Keith is a Professor of Criminal Justice at Monroe College and a retired N.Y.P.D. Commanding Officer of Transit Bureau Operations. Keith managed many crises over his 20 year professional career, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Superstorm Sandy, the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of 2012.Keith has also handled several personal crises, including the birth of his twin sons born 4 months premature. This event made it clear to Keith his true life's purpose and is now following that passion—helping others to handle crises.Keith has witnessed too often people and businesses make costly decisions during a crisis that lead to poor results. This, combined with Keith’s personal experiences, led him to form ICMC Group. Keith strives to create an honest and trusting environment where all clients are treated with care, respect, and dignity throughout the process.Keith’s systematic approach to solution development has led him to become an expert in crisis management. He has collaborated with various sectors to develop solutions for problems plaguing the criminal justice system.In 2014, Keith led a symposium to discuss preparation, action plans, and solutions in the event of an active shooter. In 2015, Keith met with the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts, West Indies. Keith was a guest expert speaker to discuss effective leadership and management in law enforcement, its impact on the organization and larger community, and action plans for an active shooter event. By years end 2015, Keith was featured on BonxTalk as an expert in the field discussing active shooter situations and preparedness.With Keith’s creation of ICMC Group, he empowers individuals and organizations that are in a crisis to avoid mistakes with sensible thinking to attain the best possible outcome. Keith offers his clients profound personal experience, intimacy, as well as unique core competencies. ICMC Group offers the flexibility of a boutique practice with the capabilities of larger, less personal consultant firms.
