Search & Rescue in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada

Read my blog

I’m a wave-riding, driftwood-walking, beach glass-collecting coastal girl from Vancouver Island. I work Search & Rescue for Parks Canada on the West Coast Trail, and am currently a Master's student in cultural anthropology at the University of Victoria. "June July Fogust" is a behind-the-scenes view of search & rescue, and covers my coastal adventures. Elsewhere, I write fiction and poetry, and recently completed a novel, "Slowly With Your Hands Up."
