I'm a educator and writer based in New York.

I've taught at Hunter College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. I've also taught and tutored elementary students in English and Spanish. I'm fluent in Spanish

Most recently, I was a reporter at Axios covering race and justice, focusing on subjects including, sports, police inequity and politics.

I also worked at news organization in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas and Oregon, where I wrote about health care, local government and sports. And, yes, I like sports, especially baseball.

I graduated from Queens College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

I'm a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
