Keleabetswe Mahuma is the Founder and CEO of The Novustec Group which is a Group of Businesses that are Centered around introducing innovative tech solutions that help service providers and people who would like to access the skills but don’t have the means to become service providers in the Beauty, Style, Spa, Design, Grooming and personal care industries by giving them platforms to learn skill sets, reach more clients and make a living.

Our passion is to encourage entrepreneurship amongst the youth and unemployed by helping them access resources and business solutions in underprivileged areas and townships around South Africa.

The Novustec Group has the following branches:

1. Vanguard Styles Academy:

A workshop platform to help unemployed youth as well as people who want to start a business or brand in the above mentioned industries but don’t have access to the resources and skills.

We support them with workshops that equip them these skills and start up material over an 8 Week course. We also assist them with marketing their businesses, invoicing, sourcing clients and record keeping Incase they need the information to seek funding or scale up their businesses.

2. Vanguard Styles APP:

After the workshops we make a profile for each service provider on our mobile app. Our Mobile app enables clients to book mobile service providers in their areas for house calls, thus helping them get and retain clients which results in them making an income.

3. Vanguard Styles Products:

We also have an online store that sells a range of specialized beauty products. these products go hand in hand with the services available on the app and is another way we generate income.

The products include but are not limited to hair piece, Brazilian hair, lash extensions and makeup brushes.

4. IN.THE.CUT. (Coming Soon)

A fashion app that uses image recognition to help people find items and gives Thrifters a platform to sell their clothes as online boutiques.

This will be a platform for people who are in or want to venture into the personal shopping and styling industries. They can help clients source fashion items or help them put together outfits online or during house call appointments. The IN.THE.CUT. APP will be launching in December.
