Kelechi Ibe is the Co-Founder and CEO of TaxStreem, an AI-Powered Tax Compliance solution built for African businesses. He is a corporate and tax lawyer with over 9 years of extensive experience spanning Taxation, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Finance, and General Corporate Advisory. He has a proven track record of providing strategic advice on high-profile, complex local and international transactions.
His career trajectory includes roles as a Senior Associate at Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie and in the Deal Advisory and M&A Tax unit of KPMG in Nigeria. In recognition of his potential, he was seconded to Latham & Watkins in London in 2024 through the prestigious International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) Flagship Secondment Programme.

Kelechi actively shapes the legal landscape as the 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Taxation Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association's Section on Business Law. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in International Tax certification at the Chartered Institute of Taxation, United Kingdom.
His expertise is consistently recognised by leading industry bodies. He is ranked as a "Rising Star" in General Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing by World Tax (International Tax Review). His contributions were further celebrated when he received the "Lawyer of the Year" award at the 2022 CEOs Network Africa Awards and was nominated for the Future Awards Africa Prize for Lawyers—an accolade recognised globally, including by Forbes and the World Bank.
Committed to social impact, he also co-founded GreenRidge Foundation, Nigeria’s first technology-enabled corporate pro bono organisation dedicated to providing free legal support to small businesses and founders.
