Keli R. Edwards, Pharm.D, Esq, an alumnus of Howard University College of Pharmacy, Washington D.C., and The Birmingham School of Law, Birmingham, Ala. was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in May, 2013. In addition, Keli completed her bachelor’s degree in Journalism (Public Relations) at the University of Florida.
Her professional affiliations include: APhA, ASHP (Policy Advisory Group, 2012-13); American Drug Utilization Review Society (District of Columbia voting delegate, 2012); SNPhA (delegate 2010-11, ABHP, 2013-present); Keli is skilled at planning and promoting community service and educational events. As a member of Howard University Alpha Pi Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity, she co-chaired an event with Kappa Psi--The Heart 2 Heart Ball, focused on women’s heart disease awareness. To date, the event has donated over $4000 to the American Heart Association.
She also enjoys mentoring students and is involved with the Howard University Pharmacy Alumni Association. She has also provided a "career day" presentation for elementary school students.
Keli likes to travel and practices yoga. She is a skilled musician, who plays the bassoon with community bands and orchestral groups. She is an accomplished pianist, and has served as a church musician and organist, and performed with various ensembles. In 1997, she played a musical invocation, "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by the Washington Symphony Orchestra (Washington, D.C.) for the program Symphony with the Divas, to honor Black Women in Congress
