Kelli Mann

Hello!! I'm a language arts and reading teacher at one of the best middle schools around -- Heritage Middle School! I became a teacher after working as a corporate editor for around 15 years.

It was the best decision I've ever made--I've gotten to know some really awesome people and some kids who will forever change my life! My favorite part of working with students is watching them grow intellectually and personally over the course of a school year. We are truly developing future leaders!

I teach sixth grade gifted and on-level students and seventh grade pre-AP students. I hold the following certifications: English Language Arts & Reading for grades 8-12 and Generalist for grades 4-8. I also have the gifted and talented supplemental certification for grades 4-12.

I co-sponsor our school's cheerleaders and mascots. It's so much fun to work with these kids who get to show their school spirit on a regular basis! Cheerleading runs in my blood; I was a school cheerleader and my daughter is a competitive cheerleader. And while we are on the topic of my family, I don't want to forget my son, who's involved in basketball and football. As you can imagine, we are pretty busy around our house!

On a personal note, I have three dogs. I love to spend my spare time attending my kids' games and competitions, reading and visiting with friends and family.
