I have had many life changing moments, the day my brother passed away, the day I was married, the day each of my children were born, and the day I was told I had breast cancer. That was Friday, November 12, 2010...I was just 33 years young. Since then, I have undergone a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and physical changes that an early 30's woman shouldn't have to endure yet in her young life. Although my physical battle has finished, I am still faced with the emotional battle every day which has proven to be harder than the treatments I went through. I invite anyone who has gone through breast cancer to share your experience and how you cope with life after breast cancer. I would love to start a support group in the Kissimmee/South Orlando area that's made strictly of young survivors and their families because what we go through is so different than the elderly survivor. With your help, we can all be Warriors.
