Hello! As you have clicked on this about.me section, then you must have some curiosity of my background and what led me to this blog.

So, here you go:

I have a Bachelors of Arts in English, concentration Creative Writing, from the University of South Alabama, and I will graduate with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University in January 2015.

I have a background in editing through being Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper, an Assistant Editor of a Literary Journal, and a year internship at a magazine. That internship included training in every aspect of producing a finished magazine from conception to publication.

Currently, I work for a logistics company while finishing my MFA. I'm hoping to earn some introductory experience through freelance opportunities.

My main interests and focus include proofreading, novel writing, poetry, cover letters, composition, blogging, and content writing.
