I’m a Keeper. No really, I am. I’m a Toms wearing, Prius driving, women’s self-defense teacher with an incurable Beatles obsession and passion for young Clint Eastwood. My day job? I’m a Substitute Teacher- I love those kids. My favorite books are The Catcher in the Rye, and Eat, Pray, Love, although I was thoroughly disappointed by the Julia Roberts version (too little heartfelt eating, praying, and loving). I love reading about the Law of Attraction, mindfulness, and anything about the mind/body connection. I aspire to visit as many of the world’s gems as possible, but if I were to plan a trip tomorrow, I would hop in the car with my best friends and road trip it up to Portland, OR, “the place where young people go to retire.” Most importantly, my husband and I created something awesome together: SwapServe.com, a website where people can volunteer with local non-profits and get free stuff from local businesses as a thank you. Oh, and I have a dog and a cat: Chandler and Phoebe.
