Kelly Parsons

I am a sports reporter studying journalism and political science at the University of North Carolina.

After a year as sports editor at The Daily Tar Heel, I spent 12 weeks living the dream in our nation's capital interning for The Washington Times, where I helped with Nationals, Redskins and Olympic Trials coverage.

With one semester left until graduation, I continue to cover men's basketball and write enterprise pieces for The Daily Tar Heel and I contibute to Inside Carolina Magazine. I'm always looking for a good game, a diet coke and a fabulous story.
